The Helen Hayes Hospital Adapted Sports & Recreation Program provides year-round adaptive sports opportunities for individuals with disabilities throughout the New York metropolitan region. The program includes a wide range of activities such as adaptive waterskiing, sailing, kayaking, rowing, fishing, cycling, skiing, and team sports. Programs are supervised by therapists and trained staff and are open to both former patients and members of the community, with adaptive equipment provided to support safe participation in recreational and competitive sports.
