Adaptive

Established in 1999, the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth, adults, and injured military personnel with physical or visual disabilities. Serving participants from age 3 to 75+, GLASA offers over 20 adaptive sports programs, including competitive and recreational activities. The organization emphasizes skill development, confidence-building, and social inclusion while promoting healthy lifestyles. Through year-round events and training opportunities, GLASA provides individuals with disabilities the chance to thrive in sports such as track and field, swimming and waterskiing.
