Adaptive

Adaptive Adventures, a national nonprofit based both in Colorado and Illinois, provides outdoor sports opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities and their families. The organization has impacted over 100,000 participants over its twenty-year history. By offering a variety of adaptive sports programs, Adaptive Adventures promotes independence, supports recovery from trauma, and fosters a sense of purpose for individuals across Illinois and beyond. These clinics provide a unique opportunity for individuals with mobility, visual, or other impairments to engage in water sports, promoting physical exercise, and social interaction.
